On the afternoon of July 3, 2026, the Ningbo Cultural Relics Protection and Utilization Association held its leadership transition conference and the first session of its sixth member representative assembly at the lecture hall of the Ningbo Museum. As an association member, Ningbo Bangda was represented at the meeting by Mr. Zhu Jianhua, Chairman of the company.

The General Assembly reviewed and approved the work report of the Fifth Council, the financial report, and the relevant election procedures, and elected the members of the Sixth Council by secret ballot. Mr. Zhu Jianhua, Chairman of Ningbo Bangda, was elected a member of the Sixth Council. At the subsequent First Meeting of the Sixth Council, a new leadership team for the Association was elected by vote, with Mr. Zhu Jianhua appointed as Vice President of the Association.

Yang Jianwu, President of the Zhejiang Provincial Association for the Protection and Utilization of Cultural Relics, attended the conference in person to extend his congratulations. He articulated the association’s core philosophy of “preserving our roots and safeguarding our cultural heritage while promoting cultural values through material objects,” and elaborated on it from four perspectives: “understanding the association’s original vision,” “grasping its mission,” “clarifying its primary responsibilities,” and “defining its strategic positioning,” thereby charting a clear course for the association’s future work.

In his inaugural address, newly elected President Zhou Mingli stated that the new board of directors will prioritize “fostering unity,” “enhancing communication,” and “strengthening services,” while upholding core principles and embracing innovation. It will work to unite and rally members, earnestly fulfill its duties, and wholeheartedly support the development of the industry.

Chen Caifeng, Deputy Director of the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism (and the Cultural Relics Bureau), attended the conference and delivered a concluding address. She outlined four key requirements for the association’s work: first, to firmly anchor itself in the political direction and uphold Party building as the guiding force, with a particular focus on cultural relics safety and foundational tasks; second, to serve as an effective advisor and proactively provide professional support; third, to broaden channels, build platforms, and effectively tell the story of Ningbo’s cultural relics; and fourth, to standardize operations, set benchmarks, and cultivate a positive public image. She emphasized that the association must earnestly implement the directives of its supervising authorities and make its own contributions to the high-quality development of cultural relics protection and utilization throughout the city.

Founded in 1996, Ningbo Bangda has, for the past three decades, remained dedicated to providing comprehensive solutions and integrated services—including storage, display, conservation, and management—for the collection‑storage facilities of museums, art galleries, libraries, archives, and other specialized institutions. The company will continue to uphold a spirit of professionalism, actively participate in the association’s initiatives, and contribute its modest efforts to the cause of cultural heritage preservation and utilization.

The conference concluded after successfully completing all agenda items.
