Ningbo Bangda Industrial Co., Ltd. was officially established.
July 2000
The company has passed the ISO 9001 quality management system certification audit.
September 2000
Undertook the collection storage project for the Guangzhou Art Museum, successfully developed core technical products such as heavy-duty compact shelving, and obtained over ten patents, marking Bangda’s official entry into the cultural heritage industry.
2003–2004
Successfully completed the collection storage construction projects for the China Geological Museum and the Shenyang Palace Museum, laying a solid foundation for Bangda’s growth and reputation in the cultural heritage sector.

Bonda’s “archival compact shelving units” have been included in the National Archives Administration’s list of recommended products.
May 2007
According to the new certification standards for National High-Tech Enterprises issued by four ministries including the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangda was honored to be among the first batch of 80 National High-Tech Enterprises in Ningbo.

Bangda’s R&D and production base, covering over 30,000 square meters and integrating R&D, manufacturing, and service functions, was completed. The “Ningbo Automated Storage Equipment Engineering Technology R&D Center” was officially inaugurated.

It was awarded a banner by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Central Office for Spiritual Civilization, bearing the inscription: “Prioritizing the overall situation and fulfilling important tasks; upholding integrity and providing excellent service.”

Exclusively undertook the “Ten-Thousand Village Library Project” organized by the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Office for Spiritual Civilization, and was awarded a banner of honor reading “Prioritizing the Overall Situation to Fulfill Major Tasks, Upholding Integrity with Excellent Service.”

The invention patent for the “Heavy-Duty Compact Rack Drive System” was awarded the Gold Prize by the China Invention Association and received a million-yuan prize from the Ningbo Municipal Government.

Completed more than ten storage cabinet and shelving projects for the Palace Museum, achieving rapid development and widespread acclaim.

Chairman Zhu Jianhua attended the 5th “China Invention and Entrepreneurship Award” ceremony at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing and received the “Invention and Entrepreneurship Award” from the China Association of Inventions.

With the approval of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the “Provincial High-Tech Enterprise R&D Center – Bangda Storage Engineering Equipment” was established.

After a rigorous evaluation and approval by the Organization Department of the CPC Ningbo Municipal Committee and the Ningbo Association for Science and Technology, Bangda was included in the “Academician Workstation” program.

When the central authorities launched the selection of designated office furniture suppliers, Bangda was among the first to be recognized as a “Designated Office Furniture Supplier for Central State Organs” and for “Departments Directly Under the CPC Central Committee.”

On National Intellectual Property Protection Day, Liu Qi—then Member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, and Mayor—led a delegation to visit Bangda for inspection and guidance, and listened to a special report on the company’s innovation and entrepreneurship.

Ningbo Bangda’s “Cold-Press Molding Nested Composite Structure Lifting and Horizontal‑Translating Intelligent Parking Equipment” project has been awarded the Ministry of Science and Technology’s “Technology Innovation Fund for Small and Medium‑Sized Enterprises.”

Through election by the China Museum Association, Chairman Zhu Jianhua became a council member of the 5th China Museum Association, and Bangda was elected as a council member unit.

Following a rigorous selection process, Chairman Zhu Jianhua was recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology as a “Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent,” becoming one of the talents under the national “Ten Thousand Talents Plan” for technological innovation.

The “National Top Ten Cultural Heritage Technology Products and Services Award” is one of the most authoritative honors in China’s cultural heritage industry. To date, Bangda has won the “Top Ten” award three times — in the 2nd (2016), 6th (2020), and 10th (2024) editions.

The “Cultural Relic Storage Cabinet and Shelf Standard Formulation Seminar” of the National Cultural Relics Protection Equipment Industrialization and Application Cooperation Platform was held at Bangda, making the company one of the main contributors to developing national industry standards for cultural relic storage.

Over 280 participants attended, including Luo Wenli, Party Member and Deputy Director of the National Cultural Heritage Administration, as well as museum directors, association representatives, and industry experts nationwide. During the event, Chairman Zhu Jianhua and Zhao Feng, Dean of the School of Art and Archaeology at Zhejiang University, held a signing ceremony for Industry-University-Research Cooperation on Collection Preservation and Intelligent Management. Bangda donated RMB 3 million to Zhejiang University to support research innovation, standard formulation, talent training, and international promotion.
